This hotel is a disaster. The safe box didn't work, and no one ever came to fix it after multiple requests. Breakfast felt more like a food critique because the staff seemed to think I wasn't eating correctly. Oh, I almost gave a better review, but then I remembered the stained sheets. Disheartening.

The location is great, the hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and polite. Its almost the best one can get within a reasonable range, considering that its inside the main islands and easy to access from the station (one boat trip of 15 minutes). The building was a bit old though and has been renovated to convert it to a hotel, but the rooms are comfortable and very reasonably sized. Highly recommended if you want to stay close to the centre at a reasonable price !!

The room was great, and great value. Centrally located. Felt sorry for all those tourists lugging suitcases all over the city. We were so close to the vaporetto stop!!!!
The fact that the address on the information sheet did not coincide with the one on the door left us a little confused. We also were not clear about having to go over to the Hotel Belle Arti for the keys on check-in. The two names are confusing.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the main attractions. The shower was great, and I appreciated that breakfast was included. The late-night receptionist was super friendly.

Location was very good and room was fine.
Check -in -timings are too late...its 1 pm. We were there in the morning around 6.30 am and asked them about the room . The guy at the reception said he can't give us the room until 1 pm. We had to wait there till that time. Its very bad ...we were so tired and I had told them in advance that we would be arriving early morning and will check out also early morning around 6 am. He didn't even check the room availability. Staff is not helpful.

The location is conveniently close to multiple waterbus stations. The spacious room featured unique interior design that captured the essence of a bygone era. Breakfast experience was chaotic and the dining area lacked sufficient space .

We stayed here for one night. As it is said in the description, the hotel Domus Cavanis actually depends of the hotel Bella Arti. The hotel is well situated, you can leave the luggage at the reception of Bell Arti before cheking-in and after cheking-out. a continental breakfast can be taken on the terass, which is very nice. The bathroom and the room by themselves were very clean and the bed confortable. So in conclusion it was ok, but not "classy" as I was expecting, dont't bring your girlfriend there if you want to make a good surprise, but fine for staying overnight.
It looks like it was not primary designed to be a hotel: the floor in the room is covered with tiles, which are actually the same that in the share corridor. Like somebody just diveded an already existing big room in small hotels rooms. The wall papers were very old and the couch (not the bed) looked like it was used by a big family for years, then put to the rubbish, and then taken to the hotel: it was very dirty and old.

The location was fantastic, just a short distance from major sites like the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and Basilica di San Marco. The room captured the charm of Venice, which was good. Breakfast was decent, though the dining area felt cramped at times. It was a bit of a hassle having to check in at the hotel across the street.

we booked to stay in this 3star hotel, but ended up in a building nearby, what did we like, nothing.
the hotel its self looked ok. but the place we stayed in was awful, it felt cold, damp, we were on the 3rd floor, the room had bad vibes, kept the light on all night, pillows were like sacks of cement,by far the worst room I have ever stayed in.Breakfast was not much better.

Very quiet and peaceful, overlooking a lovely courtyard. Excellent buffet breakfast included in price

The room was clean, maintaining a decent level of hygiene, no small feat in an old building. Convenient luggage storage facilitated easier exploration of the area, allowing stress-free movement around town.
The overall condition of the hotel felt neglected, with broken fixtures and a dingy vibe throughout. The breakfast experience turned chaotic due to cramped conditions, forcing all guests across the street for a meal.
